How Turnlore handles information during the invited beta. Updated September 23, 2026.
Information used to run Turnlore
Turnlore processes your account profile, email address, verification and session information to sign you in and protect access. Your private story state, actions and generated prose, reading preferences and saved words support play and resuming your story. Request and security metadata help operate the service and investigate failures or abuse.
AI-assisted story responses and service providers
Your story context and actions are processed to generate the next scene. Cloudflare provides hosting, data and file storage, account email delivery and AI-assisted story responses. Cloudflare processes this information under privacy and security commitments consistent with the protections described here. You can stop future AI processing by not sending further story actions; account deletion removes stored private story data as described below. Avoid entering sensitive personal information in a story or support message.
Apple purchases
Where Apple purchases are enabled, Turnlore processes product identifiers, transaction evidence and an account-linked purchase token to verify access, restore purchases and handle purchase status changes. Apple handles payment details. Beta purchase availability depends on your test environment.
Advertising and sharing
Turnlore does not sell your personal information or track you for advertising. Information is processed to provide the service, respond to support requests, protect accounts and meet applicable legal obligations.
Deleting your account
In Account settings, choose Delete account and confirm to initiate deletion of your identity and private story data. Stored story files are removed only when no remaining story references them. A cleanup record is retained so failed file deletions can be retried; deletion is not a promise that every provider copy disappears immediately. Backups and provider copies may remain under applicable provider retention and legal requirements. A verified maximum purge timeline is not yet established for this beta.
Purchase and retention limits
Deleting your account does not request an Apple refund. Apple may retain its purchase records under its own policies and legal obligations. Contact support about access, correction or deletion questions, including any remaining data after an account deletion.
